The user manual, titled “Panasonic DMC-LX5 Basic Digital Camera Operating Instructions” has 44 pages, and weighs in at 2.2 MB (Megabytes). Right-click this download link and save the user guide to your hard drive.

Alternatively, you could visit Panasonic UK for the more advanced version of the user guide, or to download the manual in other European languages.
Once you’re at the Panasonic UK site, enter DMCLX5 in the search box, hit Search, and click the View icon next to the manual you wish to download. After accepting the site’s Terms of Use, which appears in a new window, click the View button to begin the download.
As previously mentioned, the Panasonic UK site has an advanced version of the LX5 documentation, titled “Panasonic DMC-LX5 Operating Instructions for advanced features”. Referring to the screen capture above, click on the second link (the one which says 16.8MB, or right-click and download from this direct link) to download the advanced manual. This PDF document is 17.6MB in size, and has 236 pages.
Unlike with Nikon, Panasonic allows you to freely print or copy portions from the DMC-LX5 owner’s handbooks without building in any password protection into the PDF.
