Thom Hogan’s rating of the 18-70mm AF-S

Thom Hogan assigned an overall rating of three stars for the Nikkor 18-70, and states the following as reasons to buy the lens:


  1. Sharp lens with only one optical fault (Thom is referring to the vignetting at wide-open apertures).

  2. Good build quality for a kit lens.
