The English Language Canon Powershot G10 user manual / operating instructions (Canon calls it the “PowerShot G10 Camera User Guide”) is now online and available for download at Canon.com (right-click and save the user guide to your hard drive).
If the download link didn’t work for you, go to the drivers / software / firmware / guides and manual download section for the G10 and manually locate the file.
Unlike with Nikon, Canon allows you to freely print the Powershot G10 owner’s handbook without building in any password protection into the PDF. There is a watermark displayed on each page though.
The file size of 308-page Canon G10 Adobe Acrobat PDF document is 6.7 MB (megabytes).
The guide discusses the features of the G10 and how to use the camera.
It also describes the use of, and camera settings for several optional accessories. The page references are:
Page 260: Using the Tele-converter TC-DC58D.
Page 261: Using the Conversion Lens Adapter LA-DC58K.
Page 265: Using an externally mounted Canon flash.
The manual mentions the following flash units: Canon Speedlite 220EX, 430EX II and 580EX II.
