Roy Krabben’s Rome gallery

Outstanding gallery.

When I was there in 2000, I only had a Coolpix 4500, so didn’t get photos anywhere as good as his.

The photos in Roy’s gallery were shot with a Canon EOS 20D, and the thumbnails below represent the images in his gallery that were snapped with the Tokina 12-24mm f/4 AT-X 124 AF PRO DX lens.

Roy posted a link to his gallery in response to a question on whether an ultra-wide lens would come in handy while travelling in Rome.

For me, I guess the answer is a resounding yes.

I remember the many magnificent architectural structures in Rome, and how various opportunities to shoot interiors and exteriors abound.

Having a good ultra-wide angle lens like the Tokina 12-24mm f/4 AT-X 124 AF PRO DX, Sigma 12-24mm, Sigma 10-20mm for Canon or the Canon EF-S 10-22mm in your camera bag would be a very good idea indeed.
