The LX3 comes in two flavors – black and silver.

Panasonic DMC-LX3S 10.1MP Digital Camera with 2.0x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Silver): $399.00 ($93.54 price reduction).
Some of the standard accessories for the LX3 include:
- Panasonic CGA-S005 (CGA-S005A/1B) Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery: $41.02. Get a second, backup battery for your LX3. This way, you can be sure your camera continues to have a power source during extended shooting sessions.
- For storage, the LX3 uses SD or SDHC cards.
Refer to Rob Galbraith's SD / SDHC card write speed tests (done on a Nikon D90) to get an idea on the relative write and read speeds of different brands of cards. At the time of writing (Oct 29, 2009), the SanDisk Extreme III SDHC cards occupy the top two spots.
To ensure smooth recording of video and high resolution images, go for Class 6 or faster cards.
