4 pictures of a Bengal Eagle Owl by ASR45 - Lens used was the Sigma 135-400mm F4.5-5.6 DG APO for Four Thirds (4/3) mount - more information and specs | availability, best prices and deals.
To know more about the Bengal Eagle Owl, read the articles at Owlpages.com, Worldofowls.com or watch this video of one in flight.
A series of E510 pics by Ming Thein shot with two Zuiko lenses - the Olympus Zuiko 150mm f/2.0 Digital ED (lens data and full-sized image samples | availability, best prices and deals) and the Olympus Zuiko 35-100mm f/2.0 Digital ED (more specs and technical data | availability, best prices and deals).
Padres vs Braves baseball game by Trooplewis - with the Olympus Zuiko 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 Digital ED lens (specs | pricing).
Amcq also shot another series of images at the same game, but was more adventurous, shooting at ISO 1600 and 800 with the Olympus Zuiko 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5 Digital kit lens (lens data | prices).
Excellent concert series - from the Briggs Farm Blues Fest in Nescopeck, Pennsylvania, shot by Henry Smith, who opted to take the Olympus E-510, kit lenses and an Olympus FL-36 TTL Flash instead of the more bulky and conspicuous Fuji Finepix S3 Pro and Nikon D2X digital SLR cameras plus the Nikkor 70-200mm VR lens.
Orang Utan at the San Diego Zoo, by Arthur - He expressed total satisfaction with the built-in, sensor-based Image Stabilization of the E-510 and the light weight and zoom range of the Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 18-180mm F3.5-6.3 lens (specs | pricing) | review.
Concert photos of Kapono (of Cecilio & Kapono Concert) shot at ISO 800 by Hawaii-geek - Set 1 | Set 2.
Hawaii-geek used the Olympus Zuiko 50mm f/2.0 Digital ED Macro lens (specs | pricing | opinion of the lens) and shared his camera settings and post-processing details for the shots.
I would have preferred that the focus be on the bug rather than on the flower, but this macro shot of a Sphinx moth on an Evening Primrose flower by Tony Finnerty is an effective demonstration of a hand held macro shot aided by the E510's built-in IS (image stabilization).
Equipment included the Olympus Zuiko 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 Digital ED lens (specs | pricing), Olympus EC-14 Tele Converter (specs | pricing), Olympus STF-22 Twin Macro Flash (specs | pricing) and a Canon 500D closeup filter.
If you really love flowers, Tony explains a great deal about the evening primrose in this set of flower macros shot using the same setup as the one used to shoot the Sphinx moth.

The samples here are from a Japanese site - it's OK if you don't understand Japanese as the gallery thumbnails are pretty well laid-out, and it's a cinch to access the full-sized, untouched originals by clicking on them:
- Photos of a model. The Olympus Zuiko 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 Digital lens (specs) was used for the entire session. In my opinion, these images are great for assessing skin tone and portraits shot with the E510.
- Test series with the Olympus Zuiko Digital 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 ED lens. You get a variety of test photos here, outdoor, indoor, still subjects, and their standard ISO lab tests from ISO 100 to ISO 1600 (I think the ISO 1600 image is quite impressive). The 14-42mm Zuiko lens (specs | E510 bundle price) is also tested at various focal lengths and apertures - this should give you a good idea of the performance you can expect.
- Huge gallery of night cityscapes and street scenes. This gallery should give you a pretty good idea of the sort of pictures you can capture if you were to go traveling with your E510 plus Olympus Zuiko 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 Digital (specs) and Olympus Zuiko 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5 Digital (lens data | prices) lenses.
- Miscellaneous images, tested at various camera settings and ISO values, vs the E-410, with the following lenses:
* Olympus Zuiko Digital 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 ED (specs | E510 bundle price)
* Olympus Zuiko 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5 Digital (specs | prices)
* Olympus Zuiko 50mm f/2.0 Digital ED Macro lens (specs | pricing)
* Sigma 150mm f/2.8 APO EX DG Macro HSM (specs) - Miscellaneous pictures (much more interesting than the preceding set), testing the effects of different NR (noise reduction) settings, and featuring the following lenses:
* Olympus Zuiko Digital 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 ED (specs | E510 bundle price)
* Olympus Zuiko 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 Digital lens (specs)
* Olympus Zuiko 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5 Digital (specs | prices)
* Olympus Zuiko 50mm f/2.0 Digital ED Macro lens (specs | pricing)
* Olympus Zuiko 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 Digital ED lens (specs | pricing)
* Olympus EC-14 Tele Converter (specs | pricing)

[...] shutter is very quiet and discreet, and is definitely better than on Doug's Canon 20D and Olympus E-510. You can hear the A700's shutter at 7:13 of this [...]
