Nikon D60 Samples

There are six full-sized sample photos shot with the Nikon D60 plus a variety of lenses :- the new Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 G VR Nikkor, 12-24mm f/4 G, Nikon 105mm f/2.8 G VR macro, 17-55mm f/2.8 G and 55-200mm F/4-5.6 G VR.
I've taken screen captures of these images as viewed in Nikon View NX - you get to see the EXIF data for each image used, interesting information such as the Vari-program or shooting mode used, color space, etc.
For instance, Active D-Lighting was turned on for images #4 and #6 - look in the EXIF data were it says Image Settings - there's an item there labeled Active D-Lighting - if it shows Auto or anything other than Off, that's the cue that Active D-Lighting was turned on.
Also, these images were originally shot in 12-bit RAW and then converted into JPEG using Nikon Capture NX 1.3.1 (as reported using a tool like Irfanview) - the EXIF shows this under the Image Quality tag. Here's a screen shot of the EXIF for Image #1 as seen in Irfanview - notice how it says Capture NX 1.3.1 M under the Software tag.

Some great real-world and low-light samples (ISO 1600, ISO 3200, club scene #1, club scene #2) can be found within the review. The photographer is Hannah Thiem, and she used lenses that can autofocus on the D60 such as the super-expensive Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8G.
