Scott, I don't have the Geo One, but perhaps you could contact the author of the article at http://johnbiehler.com/2009/06/02/phottix-geo-one-gps-review/ - based on the photos at his Flickr account, I think he's using the Nikon D90 with the Phottix GPS unit.

I have a D90 with a Phottix Geo One GPS unit. The D90 powers the Geo One & the Geo One sees the satellites but the D90 does not see the Geo One to Geotag the photos. Any Clues?

Nikon D90 deliver same or somewhat better quality JPEG image as compared to D300 & better high ISO perfromance than D300. I think it is possible because D90 is tachnically advance by 1 year than D300. As there is a Cut throat competation in between camera manufactures. On each coming day, new technology invented by camera manufactures. Nikon R&D Dept. also improved new tech. for SLR such as face detaction, high quality video recording, new retouch features etc,,,,. One year is long time to comletely advance tech. So D90 11 AF point produce same quality as 51 AF Point. only narely 5% photografer works in extremely climate condition, so you first decide how much you need tough body & wheather seal and secondly you buy any model, highy advancing tech. force you to upgrade your model after two years. So 90% people need not worry about plastic body of D90
