Thanks to Ben Horne who took these Nikon D700 test photos (JPEG plus RAW / NEF) and had them hosted here.
The D700 RAW files can only be opened in Nikon Capture NX 2 or View NX.
Ben Horne mounted a Nikon 85mm f/1.8D AF lens on the D700 to take these photos — see the lens ID in the EXIF below. The EXIF also show that the photos were taken in 12-bit Lossless Compressed RAW mode.
View NX allows you to copy File & Camera Information when you right-click on the File & Camera Information pane on the left of the application window. Here’s the information from DSC_0052.NEF, with some minor formatting applied (EXIF from the JPEG equivalent shows that the JPEG was captured in Large, Fine mode):
