You have a Nikon SB-800 Speedlight flash mounted on your Nikon D200, and it’s switched on, but then don’t want the SB-800 to fire for a particular shot. Is there a way to prevent the SB-800 from firing other than pressing on the power button to turn it off, and the turn it on again?
Well, according to page 170 of the Nikon D200 manual, you can program the function button on the lower side of the lens to disable the flash when it is pushed.
Nice tip, thanks Doug!
