Nikon D90 Original “RAW” Movie / Video Clips

First published on: Saturday, 27 September 2008

These full-resolution sample video clips are files taken straight off my Nikon D90 for you to view and download to your hard drives for evaluation only. You can share these clips with others but please don’t use them in any media or website without attribution. Please do not cut your own films with these clips, and if you are a publication, do not run these clips on your site unless you specify the following credit “© Digital Photography Notes / www.dpnotes.com”.

Note: A quick, but not foolproof, way of determining whether a Nikon D90 movie clip is an original file from the camera is to look at the file extension. The D90 produces video files with a .AVI extension. If you see a download link for a file with a .MOV extension, it means that file has gone through some post-production editing.

The clips you see here are the re-sized version, while the original movie files are hosted on Vimeo.com. Become a member for free first, and you will see a download link on the right sidebar below the statistics for a particular video.
