Wedding photos (DPReview forum) – Westgate shared a nice set of images photographed with a Nikon D90 / 70-200 VR combination, and said this of the lens: "Unbelievably happy with the results. Rented the 70-200, now I want to buy it. I've rented other gold label nikkors before, but I've never gotten the kinds of results the 70-200 gave. Razor sharp, fastest focusing I've ever used, most accurate focusing I've ever used, the color and the contrast is amazing."

Nikon 70-200 plus TC17 photos

Per L of Images & [re]views posted some sample images taken with a Nikon plus a 1.7x teleconverter (an example of such a converter would be the Nikon TC-17E II (1.7x) Teleconverter AF-S).

This was in reply to a request for suggested Nikon lenses that are the equivalent to the Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS USM telephoto zoom lens.
