Last update (Jun 24, 2009): Wedding photos with a D90 / 70-200 VR combination.

This page is a collection of photo samples taken with the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR Nikkor zoom lens, image galleries, user pictures and other examples that I've come across in forums, online communities, blogs and related websites.

This should help in determining if the image quality you'll obtain from the 70-200 VR meets your expectations.

Bear in mind that the majority of these photos are resized, and may have gone through post-processing, retouching or other edits. I just thought that it would be interesting to see, at a glance, what Nikon 70-200mm VR owners and users are shooting with their optic.

Full-sized images, where available, will help with judging the image quality.

Attribution is given by linking to the source and where available, the author's homepage or photo gallery.

Rented the 70-200, now I want to buy it. I've rented other gold label nikkors before, but I've never gotten the kinds of results the 70-200 gave. Razor sharp, fastest focusing I've ever used, most accurate focusing I've ever used, the color and the contrast is amazing."
