Bird Photography with the Nikon D300 at 8 fps

In this post, Raymond Barlow shares a link to his gallery where the first seven images are of an osprey in flight.

What's special about this series is that it was captured with the Nikon D300 firing at its full 8 frames-per-second (fps) continuous burst mode.

From the EXIF, the aperture seems to have been fixed at f/5, ISO at 250 and focal length at 400mm.

Lens used is the amazing Nikon 200-400mm f/4G AF-S VR Nikkor lens.
